Hi,guys why r you fighting about this?IF   you think that it is only for malyalee pentacost you are absolutly wrong. if u go to a T.P.M  church anywhere in the world u will not see wearing gold.or silver. Iam not tpm but i visited their church it is packed with multinationals , none of them use it .They r more ideal in their dress as well bze no ladies is allowed in the church with jeans .there should be some descipline . If you love God more than anything u will feel gold is nothing , i feel very irritated when i see a person in the church with ornaments, but for western people a ring is a sign for them that they r married.    

Mostly people from poor background started following pentacostal way of faith in the begining.  Hence the question of gold was not existed.  In Bible one can see many elaborations of Gold,  Silver, Jewels,perfumes, weath and luxuries men of God used to have and enjoy life.  And I think Bible is the source from which the present world luxuary,fashion and heritage derived.

 And I think you dont find a lady(Including pentacostal and TPM) sincerly disliking Gold and prescious materials.  It is their inborn attachment towards all these decorative items.  Regardless caste, creed religion ladies all over the world loved to be more attractive and accepteble. Who wants to marry an unattractive girl in this 21stCentuary?

In Kerala some years back, if a lady has a gold chain it will be borrowed and worn by all other ladies who dont have one on the special occasions.  From the Gulf Boom Gold became common in Kerala.  Pentacostal pastors(Mostly farmers,primary teachers and just literate groups never widely travelled and read) took a broken verse from the Bible and insisted on poor people that Gold is Sin,Gold will not take you to heaven etc.

It is interssting to note that Not only Gold, but also having attractive cloth, hygiene body, combed hair, Radio, TV, social life were banned during the initial stage of pentacostal faith.  Thank God wrist watch was allowed.  If you are above 50 years old you will know more than me how pentacostal way of life used to be.  Now things have changed pentacostal people became very rich ( They save money on Alchol and tobaccos), having big houses, cars, estates, bussines, Plasma/LCD TV, Muscial system and poweful meals thousand times worth than Gold, Silver etc.

I personaly don't use Gold or anything on my body, but have no complaints on people who use them.  It is not at all safe to have valuablles on your possession in this world.  It is upto each person to decide what to wear on your body.  some girls are very beautiful with some ornaments(fake will do).  In western culture women are very much beuaty concious(regardless faith or denomination) even great women preachers are with ornaments,lipsticks,long nail,hair style and skirts or jeans.  Still people are saved, baptized and filled with Holy Spirit. 

Bible is our Book, please study and follow it, Let God judge us.  The church of Christ is believers from all over the world, neither pentacostal,cathoolic, episcopal nor present day most modern pentalcostl groups.

This is a seed of devil to stop christianity. To a certain extent he succeded. We still hang on jewellry. This is not a big deal. You remove or not, thats your wish..this is the time to come out of that...should not seperate people on the basis of gold or anything..

We have been following (wearing gold) it for many years. If one wants to cahnge the practice, there should be a proper reason. Otherwise Why should one think against the practice ? Those who already removed it, on what basis the removed it, if it is guided by holysprit, why they are not ready to distribute their property equally.....

in heaven we can see GOD, in earth we cannot see GOD....

when we see GOD in heaven then automatically Gold will become less..

but in earth, since we cannot see GOD there is much chance to see Gold more..

see how much difficult is to make understand things when Gold has more value than GOD.

But it would not happened to John who wrote the revelation. he mentioned gold also....If automatically gold will become less when we see god, then  he could not have written about gold in revelation.He should have mention only about God.. .Gold has more value to those who talk against it. If they do not care, why they are forc ing others to remove...It is a new thing that in heaven also there is some automatic operations...
