I would like express my personal opinion I got while going through the above said article in the SD.No doubt that the refered article was eying to bring the pathetic situation prevails in the pentecostal churches.As there is no system to validate the functioning of church pastors and their way of life by the church leadership many a time most of them are suffering hard to lead a normal life with the minimum required amenities.This happens due to the lack of the system to assess the requirement of the pastors in the church ministry.If any of the local church is not having enough funds/ or financial resource to take care of the pastor then the head quarter should come for the help of the pastor.It is advised to come out with some salary scale to be fixed for the pastors and it should be paid thro the church administrative office.The salary may be exclusive of the offering in the church worship meetings.all the tieth should be collected and credited to the church with accounting system in the commonpool. then I hope there will not be any shortfall in helping/ giving salary for the minises as it is being done in other churches( eg.marthoma church) .If such a system is developed with proper administration there will not be any allegation or disparity of one like you mentioned in the article.It is the high time to think about implementin such a system.
