Hey brethren,

Recent Police raids at Heavenly feast Kottayam ( Pastor Thangu ) and Aathmeeya yathra/ Gospel for Asia HQ's ( KP Yohannan ) and attacks on Power vision channel offices and several others have been on the limelight. All these events followed the busting of few fraud hindu swamis...and the apparently atheistic leftist government has taken this oppurtunity to curb or atleast check on some other religious leaders too...and our pentecostal leaders happened to be easy targets...

It would be nice to hear responses frm believers on how to respond to these events???

I agree with it. There is always hard situations for those in gods wrk. We need to pray more for those men of God. This is all political people who want to please majority.

Thats true. This is nothing compared to real persecution church is facing. But still there are some interesting factors to be debated.

Are those in Missions really trust worthy in handling finances? Or is it they are just taking the law for granted and doing it as they wish?

Is there a need for churches and organisations to stop petty silly differences and egos, and to rally on a common platform for prayer, accountability,fellowship and more?

I hear from media and people, Missions in Kerala and India having billions ( crores ) of money pouring in, and some of those in the leadership investing in plantations, real estate and like.... Are we accountable for Lords money? or is there a misconception that Lords money is to be wasted? I see Big mansions...luxurious life styles...pastors children spending huge amounts for education...i am not against god given prosperity..but if its money for evangelising India..then arent we believers responsible to pray for our leaders to reinvest those wealth for the right purpose? More than half of India doesnt still know the meaning of THE CHRISTMAS STORY....?? anyone listening???

 As per terms of this forum, I am not criticising anyone in person...but still i knw a believer in america who is still greiving on loosing thousands of of his hard earned dollars because a well known convention singer cheated him.

If we dont rise up, pray for our leaders, keep them accountable by voicing against them, the authorities are going to nail them, and it will bring shame to the so called church as a whole.

I am not ignoring that most of our leaders are spending money in the right way, and keep their audits uptodate. But its still the few of the lot that makes it a mess.

Also there is a lack of responsiveness when ever there is an opposition towards pentecostal leaders and missions..its high time for a common forum for all pentecostal missions in india..

For instance this raid, attacks, etc are just a political game...of course Hindu fanatics are voicing against the funds pouring into christian missions, which is totally absurd..Hindus get most funds from western countries and they have misused it a lot..even those godless communists who have burnt christians alive have illegal nexus with liquor mafia, piracy racket, and all underworld stuff..then why raiding pentecostal leaders who collect money from believers and lead people to light, give them food education a new way of life?

Lets settle our own problems within ourselves..or else we might be draged to the worldly court rooms...inviting other opinions on this thread...

the type of fighting, leaders are facing, can only be clearly known if we are a similar leader.

everyone has the right to work more and more for jesus kingdom and jesus will reward or judge them here / heaven.

what we became for christ and how much we did powerfull ministry for souls that will count.

lesser peoples finds time to chew and enjoy the situations that leaders are going through....

 be a good leader as you like to be.......let some souls be saved by you.

use bible and spirit behind it....then wait for the comments of those peoples about you.

jesus freak, another good post. I agree, some( maybe just a few) are misusing the funds they receive. This is causing humiliation for a whole congregation. there are thousands of pastors who are struggling to feed  their children, work hard for the Lord living by faith and suffer for the Gospel. These are the people who are the true sufferers. Not the so called millionaire leaders. these people will turn each raid and each stone thrown into dollars when they visit abroad while the poor pastors will live under the humiliation of their leaders being exposed in the press. Sad.

 the injustice shown by government and the communcal forces against the just will go punished by God. But for the ones among us who broke the law, they will suffer in the hands of God and man. Consider this as a time of purification.

Recent raids at christian organisation's offices and church premises by the government officials is something normal action which may takes place when govt. receives any complaint regarding the functioning of the socalled organisations.Everybody knows that the recent developments in kerala after the arrest series of many sanyasees and self declared Godman/woman is coz of restlessness of some vested interested groups.They are taking the path of vandalism by attacking/ destroying the hoardings, buildings etc.of the christian organisations which are doing the gospel works and public services  for diverting the attention of the general public from the particular group of sanyasins.Their aim is to establish that bogus and ungodly persons with enourmous amount with financial sources thro illegal means are existing in christian organisations too.So far they couldn't suceeded i their effort as true christian organisations are committed to the nation as well as the teaching of jesus.Jesus Christ taught his disciples to pay the tax to the rulers as per the rule of the land.hence all the followers of the jesus are supposed to be faithful and sincere in respecting the rule of the land.

As Christian community is first to respond to the call of the needy with compassion of God, many fake persons under the disguise of christian person/organisation may be there with filthy hands.They have to give answer at the judgement of throne.Even if they are not  caught by the govt. authorities here they can't escape from the eye of God the almighty.

Hence it is high time to rededicte and examine the functioning of the organisations as well as the leadres of the organisations.Whether the donations/ contributions coming from different means are being utilising for the purpose or not??whether the funds are diverted for individual gains or acquiring wealth? EXAMINE..EXAMINE BY THEMSELVES..

 Let's be the true witness of Lord.Let others see the difference as gentiles found in the Israelites in exile. Daniel was put in to the den of Lions by the order of the king, but what happened?? A new order has come from the same kingdom.

Let's pray for all the christian leaders and organisations for do the ministry of Lord according to the will of God sincerely and faithfully without hurting the interest of nation.

if u are a true christian, do not worry  about thangu ,kp,.a true christian never buy land and bulding in his name or his family . follow the countrys law.make a triust. and trust should run this so called ministrys.

there are false characters but all are not...... these days we need an annointment to overcome the rumours and news.

all gossips made about yohannan & thanku are meaningless when compared to what is happening with the worldy peoples.

these men should get time to respond and clear their stance...i believe they will comeup with more power and strength in jesus name.

their ministry will grow and wash away all their past crisis to a more better future.

Its really true that none of the real servens of God makes and buy billions valued properties and building in their own name or their family trust unless they are greedy. So don't worry about that. As a saying, "whoever eats salt will drink water". Let our legal system prove that they are innocent and don't made money in the name of God for their own benifits.

We may think that they are doing, this charity and that charity, but the fact is that under the name of charity veil, they making plenty of money for thier lavish life and enjoy thier life.

Dear Christians!!

I have only simple questions to ask to the Christian individuals or churches who are trying to protect K P Y or Thanku or whoever is involved in the current scandal.

1. As a “high class minister of Jesus Christ”, is it right to IMPORT money avoiding proper legal channel?
2. Can we use the money donated by Christians around the world for the purpose other than what it was designated for by the donor?
3. Can we use the money given by Christians, from their tithe or any amount committed for Lord, which is separated for Lord’s work, mainly for propagation of gospel; for buying 1000s of acres of estate or land in cities or in anything where the outreach work is not done, or any charitable work is not done?
4. Can we agree with any such Lord’s money being given to political parties?  What is the motive in giving to them?
5. Can we agree with converting such huge amount to personal family investments?
6. Can we agree with any minister publishing his ministry with his pictures, where the glory goes to the “man god”?

We all know that they were cheating.  Even at the time of starting itself, they knew that this could become a legal problem in the near future.  They must have done the level best to hide everything.  Even during the recent weeks when the govt or media started picking on such “man gods” they must have removed all possible documentations.  Still they are caught with cases where they could not give proper answer!!  Now think about the magnitude of hidden things!!!!

There is no difference between the swamis and Christian man gods.  Basically the tricks are the same, motives and the same. 

Look at the followers of both groups.  The emotions and reason for following the leader is the same.

• Want to know the future.
• Want to get the physical problems solved.
• Want to get material richness.

Now the argument is very funny… Amrita cheated more than KPY!!! So save him!!!

I am really surprised to hear this from believers.  Are you putting Amrita and KPY in the same scale?  Yes, you are right!! Both are in essence the same!!! Only reaping from 2 types of field.

Blind followers of men!!  Who respond to emotions with money.  Who does not follow or dilute the Bible teachings and  doctrines!!  Who ignore such movements from the beginning.  Who pat their back and say… good.. go ahead.. we are not doing anything… you are doing at least something… you are at least telling the name jesus in between… oh don’t say anything against them, God will judge!!  YOU allowed them to grow like this and YOU made them to fall.

When you have Rs. 10,000 to invest in a bank, you have the wisdom to invest in a bank where it is secure and will give you the maximum return.  When you pay money to buy food or cloths you know how to do the best buy.  Then why the Christians are idiots in investing Lord’s portion of our money?

Open your eyes, raise your voice and shout against such man gods.  It is Lord’s money being misused.  The western believers who gave it do not know what is happening in Kerala.  They don’t read or watch Malayalam media!!

if followers of swami raised some allegations against peoples in our circle, then we should findout the exact explanations from our people itself rather celebrating it. (do accepting there are some problems within our men)

 A monster, a pimp, a murderer, and a greedy is protected in our state rule, and someone who raises our lord as he knows, (if getting money and buying plots for future plans) are not in the same row.

 our rewards are not measured by what we are getting here... if you have given money for LORD then don't go behind it. the one who recieved in the name of LORD should be responsible.. think before you act !!!

Do not bother about what others are doing..Bother about what you are doing..It is easy to make comment....but it is hard to do...Thangu is doing a great job for god's kingdom. Many are coming to jesus through him. It should be appreciated.

still thangu lacks clear doctrines , for that he can guide peoples to attend pentecostal meetings and be more stable in belief.

 he is a good fisherman but somebody should help him in preparation.
