'Church Politics linen' to be washed in public

Few of Keralite penetecostal leaders' shift towards active shows the decay of our spiritual culture.

The much analysed and discussed 'church politics' is moving into public now. Kerala's rich political atmosphere is about to here few 'Hallelujahs' and 'strothrams'.

Are we believing in God? or in man power? Politics is man power in a way, it is a game of human wisdom, it is not coming from Godly wisdom. its a game.

Few leaders are opposing the political move on personal grounds which is equally shameful. That is also not by Holy Spirit.

If we trust in God fully, then why should we turn towards human nature?

It is so pathetic that most of our leaders and most of the blievers find no fault in worldly things these days. They oppose ornaments. But support arrangements.

Error is human. God knows it. But if we error, why dont we repent? Why the pentecostal community is hesitate to accept their failures and why they are so reluctunt to correct it? This is the most saddening part.

We are blessed in many ways. We say we have spiritually rich fathers from Kerala itself.

But are we trust in God?

Are we testing Him by our activities?

Leaders and laymen, all must think, repent and must come back to God's presence.

     Dear Mr. ?

I would like to respond to your points. I can.t do that until you show the courage to say who you are and the church you belong to. Hope editors of this prestigeous pathram also consider not posting notes that are anonymous as it is not right. The same person can send many postings anonymously and sway public opinion unfairly, playing in to the politics these same argue against.

    Ninan Mathullah

    I PC Hebron

Note from admin: Regarding anonymous posting, even when people post with names and locations, it cannot be verified if it is the same person they claim to be. While posting with names is highly encouraged, for a person who wants to post multiple postings they can do so with different names as well. A posting on a public domain has this limitation. Hope you understand.

Re: 'Church Politics linen' to be washed in public

    Dear Sirs,

I am the same person who wrote the note "Church politics linen..", but I am really sorry to say that I am not interested in this topic any more and I do not want to disclose my details here.

I regret that I wrote few words on the deterioration of our church, I was in pain regarding the same as I am a 4th generation pentecostal, my great grant parents lost all for the faith at that time, beaten, robbed, sent away from their birth place. My father's uncle left orthodox priest hood to serve the Lord. I lost my grand mother for the same faith (I did not see her in my life), when my father was only 3 months old. My grand mother got yellow fever, according to the faith at that time denied medicine and entered glory. My Grand father was abused by his brothers because of this faith. My father was mocked by all at one time. I could not get a job on time because am a pentecostal though am a master degree holder. I am happy about all these and Praising the Lord for all what happened to me..

I made too many mistakes in the article in excitement. I assure you all that I wont write here or anywhere again in future though once I was writing a lot and still holding a diploma in Journalism from a premier university in India. And I humbly request the moderators to remove the topic becuase the likes of Bro. Mathulla are irritated by the anonimity of the writer. And I wish to make clear that I am not living where Bro Mathulla lives or anywhere normally considered as the best place...

I am really tocuched by the testimony by the anonymous person. I now realize how the pentecostal church is growing like a fire by the contributions of the dear brother and likes of his family, and how it's badly affected by the actions of the so called leaders. BTW I am a devout Catholic from Dallas, TX.

Re: 'Church Politics linen' to be washed in public

this IPC Hebron from where Ninan Mathulla attends is only otherwise known as chilli powder church right? 'molaga podi' church?... some lady threw molaga podi during some general body meeting. funny... anyways i agree with the admin... this bro.ninan need not be bro Ninan. hey can be someone else using a pseudo name. SO please dont force anybody to tell their names, if that is a compulsion for you why dont you leave this forum and start one of your own where you can only allow people who quote their names.. i bet you'd get the whole of houston to write... Mr.Ninan i pity you...

    From

    George W Bush

    (trust me i am Mr.Bush.)

(Would you trust me? no you wont! So this is the case with everyone... So Mr.Ninan stop having an identity crisis and write what you have to and get out of here....)

Seems to me that Mr. Mathullah is trying to defend someone. Sir,  whoever you are trying to defend, will throw you out after he needs you.  Others will take advantage of you.  So be yourself.  Don't try to protect or defend  unless you have some kind of advantage or benefit out of it.

    Thank you sir,
