this is a great beginning. v 've decided to implement praying for india in our church from this sunday.

moreover i'll try to connect to as many believers/pastors as possible and put across this idea of praying.

as dear anonymous as written, v can set aside some personal time in our schedule to pray for india. the only condition is v all pray simultaneously no matter wherever v r. the time difference can b sorted out.

i am don't know wether any saip or mathama has prohpecied regarding india to be christian country by 2020.

as for me, my revelation comes from the word of god, which says, "ask of me and i will surely give the nations as thine inheritance and the very ends of earth as thy posssession" (ps. 02:08).

i am just following the word of god and asking father god to give the nation of india to jesus.

the question need to be different WHY INDIA IS NOT EVANGELISED SO FAR ?

Its shocking to see casteism taking prominence in malayalee churches in kerala and elsewhere. Syrian christians, Nadar christians, pulaya christians, paraya christians, ... and the whole lot of discrimination, intrigue, sugar coated words and underlying manipulation etc etc.

You said it. We need to treat the cause and start from the scratch

Dear brethren,

I selected this topic from out of a dozen options given by SD, because this seems to be the most pressing topic for us, Indian Christians to deal with. 

For us in India, the problem of evengelization is a unique one because of the multifarious division of the country; linguistic, racial, caste-wise and denomination-wise. We have people speaking almost 2000 dialects in addition to the 23 official languages and we know that we have to train ministers in all these languages if we are to reach all our people.  And while  we make set up to train such witnesses, we need to co-ordianate similar attempts made by visionaries from different denominations.

We need to  have a "United Front" of all the Denominational leaders at least for the purpose of evengelization.  If you ask me I will recommend a united front of all the Protestant and Reformed denominations.  It is not however wise to ignore the Catholic and Orthodox church efforts in evengelization.  We need to have an understanding with them also in this effort, as they also spend millions of Rupees on this head.  

1, A united Prayer-Fellowship needs to be formed as a precursor to the formation of this United Front.

2, A group of Spirit-filled leaders should be chosen to form  two Committees(one for S.India & one for N.India) which will become  Boards (legally) eventually.

3, These Boards should be given discretion to call upon all the Denominations in their jurisdiction to send 10% of their denominational income to the Head-Quarters which will have facility to print literature(Tracts and New Testaments) in all the possible languages and also training facility to train ministers (pastors) for different language groups. If these operations can be co-ordinated then each Rupee will go much longer in reaching the lost.

After ministering for the past 19 years in USA both in affiliation with the Baptists and the Pentecostals, I am coming down to India for doing direct evangelization there.  I know it is very difficult to unite all the Christian denominations for worship purpose as their doctrines vary drastically.  However, all denominations will agree with the' Great Commission' 

In fact, bible tells us that "this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached to all the nations (language groups) and then the end shall come. Matt.24:14.  End of this Age will come only when the full number of te Gentiles are added the Body. Rom.11.25.

All those who are interested in the Second Coming of the Lord are also under obligation to hasten His Coming. 2 Pet.3:12.

Yes     you are right     There are territorial demons and evil spirits are appointed by Lucifer to control the advance of Gospel.  We should rebuke them.  Prayer walk, Pray in spirit these things will help us.   This will help us to evangalize India

It is good to have a plan and strategy in dealing with this issue. The core issue as I see it is Gandhiji's words, "I would have become a christian but for these christians. To have some form of unity among christians in India will help. At least if we can come together and co-operate on areas were we can agree. Also we must admit that when we point finger in one direction based on our understanding, three fingers are pointing in the opposite direction that is unknown and God's overall Master plan above all as God is the author of history. I believe things will change in prayer. Let ask God to send more workers for the harvest.

Thank you for your e-mail and encouraging words about my 'posting'  in SD!


The modern Church is torn asunder by Satan's sleights. We, Christians have bought into all the deceptions (doctrines and practice) brought in by his angels. This trend is going to stay with us for the rest of the Age because the greatest deceiver is going take charge of the world shortly.  At the height of apostasy, the Man of Sin and his prophet will be received by the Church and Israel alike, as a miracle worker and as the Redeemer.
"Will there be faith on the face of the earth when the Son of Man returns" asked Jesus.

Given the situation, we still can work for unity at some level. Pentecostals should stop criticizing the Baptists and Baptists the Presbyterians and the Presbyterians the Lutherans and vice versa if we Protestants are to make any dent on apostasy. Pentecostals have no monopoly of truth, neither do Baptists or Presbyterians. (Pentecostals need to read the book, "Ninety Minutes in Heaven" by Don Piper and Other Denominationalists should read the book, "Burning Hell and Eternal Heaven").  Pentecostals themselves do not see eye to eye in reality; Sheep-stealing is a commonplace thing among Pentecostal denominational churches themselves.  How can a House stand if it is divided in itself? Pentecostalism will not stand; neither will Protestantism if we tread the same path.  Things have to change and we have to talk and get serious about talking against this wrong trend. 

We, Indians need to do something about evangelising India and that too without delay!  Let us present this agenda and give it the maximum currency as we can while we continue to pray for India (not forgetting other countries).

Let us start praying together for Indian evangelisation at two times a week; Sunday at 10 AM and Wednesday at 10 PM.
